Let me start by noting that I’ve added a list of my ‘Recommended Links’ to www.dalespeak.co.uk
To continue… having built the first of the control cabinets its time to start connecting things.
All the DCC equipment I’ve bought so far, by the way, is Digital plus by Lenz.

The first step is to connect power to the Lenz LZV100 Command/Power Station. I’ve mounted the Lenz TR100 transformer in place (seen in the background) and run power wires (blue & white) from this to the U & V terminals on the rear of the LZV100. Then from the J & K terminals on the command station are taken the track feed wires (black & red). The terminals LMAB are connected to the Lenz LA152 Universal XpressNET Adapter by four wire phone cable.

The LZV100 Command Station slotted into place with the power light on.

The Lenz LA152 XpressNET Adapter powered up too.

Finally, an overview with the Lenz ‘Compact’ controller connected by a proper cable.
