With construction finished towards the rear of the hill, I thought I’d make a start on covering it.

The first steps of covering the hill.
The first thin skin of newspaper, soaked in Polyfilla, is laid over the finished part of the hill. This first layer, when dried, will merely provide a surface onto which thicker, more sculptured, layers of filler can be added.
