Following the creation of the hill above ‘Overdale Tunnel’ the landscaping continues towards ‘Overdale Quarry’, in an almost organic fashion. There is no ‘Master Plan’. The landscape is evolving as it goes, simply because it has to go somewhere.
As I mentioned, in a post back in April of this year (2008): Overdale Quarry… Take 4 an adjustment was going to be required to the depth of the loading facility. And with the landscape hurtling towards it (at a snails pace), now was the time to do something about it.

The ‘Overdale Quarry’ loading facility (as it was back in April 2008) was clearly not aligned with the trackplan.

Armed with a sharp ‘Stanley’ knife a measured slice of the building was amputated from the back.

Convalescing, after its minor surgery, the building now straddles the trackplan comfortably. This done, I can move on to the surrounding scenery to create a setting for the quarry.
