Time to stick down the amended trackplan tiles that I printed out…
The view, last year – 2008, before the trackplan changes.
The same section of the layout now, with the track lifted and the first few trackplan tiles pasted down. You can see the pile of printed and untrimmed ones on the second level. Also evident is where the branchline takes its new course, avoiding the need for the original tunnel.
Around the corner, and the revised layout for ‘Dalesmouth’ station is laid down. You can see that the new position of the platforms gives a lot more room to the rear for station buildings and a gentler hillside.

…after all the trackplan is in place.
There are still some tiles to lay beyond the station, but this is as far as I got today. I need to lift a few more pieces of track at this end as well, before I can continue.
