Finally, I’ve found the time (and materials) to finish the covering of the hill.
At last the skin of the hill is completed. All I’ve got to do now is let it dry, after that I can give it some thicker coats of Pollyfilla for a good finished surface. Then I can start bringing the hill to life.
The finished hill viewed from the ‘Dalesmouth’ viaduct end. You can see that I have already started to give the left hand peak a surface coating of Pollyfilla. The gap in the landscape in the foreground will eventually take the abutment for the viaduct.
