Not another programme for the Discovery Channel (on which everything seems to be extreme this, or extreme that). Just an observation on the perils of building your model railway in a poorly ventilated loft. In winter it’s enough to freeze the you know what off a brass monkey. Then, in summer, the temperature goes to the other extreme.
That’s why last night I had to bring on my biggest fan. No, not you dear reader. This is a trusty old oscillating fan which I’ve had for years. I had to liberate it from the bedroom for the evening, whilst I did a bit of track laying.
So, just a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of building a model railway in the loft. It can be extreme!!!
